HAIR STYLES ARE UP
A.MEKICAN CONVENTION NEW YORK. Oct. 17. Prices and wages and everything else are going up this autumn, so hair styles are too, the New York Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association says. At the opening of the association's convention yesterday, higher coiffures were shown. Curls will he hanked on top of the head this year. "The upward movement plays the leading role in autumn coiffures,” the demonstrator said. ‘‘The hack ol the neck hasn’t really been seen for the past seven years. ’ It disappeared like women’s ears, which have been hack now for some time. Now \ve shall see the hack of the neck once more.”
Feathers and velvet and . all sorts of ornaments will he used this year to adorn the coilfnre. the association has deckled. A popular color for the hair will he bright red and even '‘spit” curls are back.
