FLANDERS POPPIES
40,000,000 FOR SALE (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 2. In connection with the usual Armistice Day appeal for the British Legion of ExServicemen, 40,000.000 imitation Flanders poppies have been made by disabled soldiers for sale on November 11 in the streets throughout Britain and other parts of the Empire, and among British communities abroad.
