“MAD FAKIR’’ ARRESTED HANDED TO AFGHANS (Received Nov. 3, 3 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Nov. 2. The Lcvvani fakir, known as the "mad fakir/’ who was responsible for recent grave disturbances on the IndoAfghan border, has been handed over to the Afghan authorities, together with three companions. The fakir was arrested at a British border post after eluding the British and Afghan authorities for two years, during which lie first endeavored to raise a revolt against King Nadir Shall in favor of ex-King Amanullah, and later instigated a rising of turbulent border tribesmen against the British Go vo rumen t.
