. OPTIMIST .AND BUSINESS WOMEN’S CLUBS ...A combined mogting of the Business Women ’s. Club and the Optimbff Club was held ,on Tuesday evening.in Le Grand’ Cafe. Mrs. Jones presided over d splchcUii representation of . members ‘from both- clubs. - Before introducing* the speaker, the chief optimist, Mr. L. Anderson, caused considerable amusement by levying small lines for offences committed by various members of the cjubs. Mr. W. Camithcrs, the Cook Hospital .bacteriologist, addressed the gathering on “Bacteria.” He had spoken to the Optimist Club op. the “Life and Development of Bacteria” on . a previous occasion, but by appVppching the subject from; a different angle ho was able to further instruct and. interest everyone,present. ... A member of the Business Women.’? Club, Miss L.
