DISTRAINT OF GOODS
AN INTERESTING POINT (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. Mr. Justice Ostler was called on in the Supreme Court to decide whether a landlord has the right to distrain on goods in iiis premises when a receiver has already taken possession under a debenture. After hearing evidence, His Honor said it was an important point, and h« would reserve his decision.
