AUSTRALIAN ENTERPRISE TONGUES AND RABBITS (Received Oct. 2, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 1. Among Australian food'products now coming into favor are sheeps and calves’ tongues in glass- jars, which the b(ew South Wales .and South Australian AgenciospGeneral are displaying ac Australia House. They are attractively got up, and are meeting with a steadily-increased demand. Another line recently introduced is stewed rabbit with vegetabes in glass jars, which also i,s proving so popular that a largo consignment has been ordered. The trade in frozen rabbits has been brisk, and now the season is ir. full swing. ’Hie prospects of the Australian egg trade in the immediate future are not regarded as bright, as 61,000 cases, nearly 22,000,000 eggs, are due to arrive within a fortnight.
