STATE INSURANCE OFFICE (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day Due honor was paid to Mr. A. E. Allison, retiring commissioner of the Government Life Insurance Department, til a, function attended by Mr. P. Vershaffelt, Public Service Commissioner, departmental heads and others. Mr. W. E. Arnold, the now commissioner, who presided, announced that, although they were saying farewell to Mr. Allison, they were not going to lose him altogether, as lie had been appointed to an advisory position.
