THE MEN WHO FAIL

STUDY OF CAUSES NAGGING WIVES AS HANDICAPS LONDON, Sept, 17. A nagging wife is one of the greatest causes of man’s failure, according to Dr. Bernard Hollander, an eminent Austrian-horn and trained physician, lb' specialises in mental and nervous diseases. He lias been a naturalised British subject since 1899. Failure, said Dr. Hollander, follows ideas which are larger than the purse, the trusting of untrustworthy people, and the setting of pleasure before duty. A man is bound to fail if he lacks a sense of humor, if he dawdles or worries, if he does not know how to approach others and it be cannot carry conviction and cannot take a rebuff.

But the most important factor in the failure of men is marriage, said Dr. Hollander, who has made a special study of mind and character and deviations from the normal. He has collected a vast number of physiological and pathological facts concerning brain functions.
