VACANCY ON THE BENCH (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. A coldly formal reply to his question concerning the vacancy on the judicial bench was received by Mr. A. J. Stallworthy (Coal., Eden) from the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, in the House yesterday. “The matter is now receiving the consideration of the Government,” said Mr. Forbes, to tire accompaniment of loud laughter.
