WAIPIRO BAY NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) In honor of Miss Ena Lee, who is on vacation from Hamilton, a jolly party was hold at the home of her parents. The large, dining-room was the scene of much frivolity, dancing, games and songs being enthusiastically indulged in, while in the sitting-room card tables were laid out for those who desired a quieter evening. Bunches of anemones, rammcules, and ficcsias decorated each room and log fires were kept hunting brightly. Miss Leo, sang a solo and also a duet with Mr. L. Ltmken, both items being well received by the guests. Miss 1). Connie played the accompaniments. Dancing indoors and on (lie verandah wtis continued after supper had been served, till the pleasant evening was brought to a close in the, appropriate manner. The guests present included: Mr. and Mrs, 11. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. 8. J. Lee, Mr. and Mrs. W. 11. Bradley. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Jensen, Mr. oiid Mrs. 11 McFarlanc; Misses N. Lee, I). Connie, E, Linton, M. McGhee, R, Wharehinga, I!. Irving, and lx. Larsen ; Messrs. T. Smith, W. Holton, L. Lunken, A. T. Allan. J. Smith, P. Leo, N. Cottle, and J. O’Donoghue.
