MAN’S ELECTROCUTION
VERDICT OF SUICIDE (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. A verdict that the deceased committed suicide while mentally depressed was recorded by the coroner at an inquest this morning into the death of Duncan Stanhope, 41, who was found electrocuted on the Taradale road on September 4. The evidence showed that the deceased escaped from hospital and climbed an electric light tower, touching a live wire.
