8.8. C. Home Too Small
DliOA DCAbTINO House, the 8.8. C. headquarters iu London, ■ which was completed a year ago tit a cost ot £500,000, is already too small ! The stall’ Ims outgrown its accommodation, ami 10, Portland-place, near by, has been bought for use as offices. Two move houses. 11l and 1-1, l oil-laud-plnee, tire to be taken over as soon as the present tenancies expile. There are not even enough studios in Broadcasting House. The reason is a mystery, since broadcasting is not more extensive now than when thu plans of the building were passed as adequate. The 8.8. C. is now looking lor a site near its present building on which an extension could lie built.
