LADIES’ TITLES SECOND ROUND MATCHES Second roilnd inatolies in the Poverty Buy Indies’ Golf Club championship tournament were played this morning, with tile following results: — Senior Championship.—Miss M. Bull beat Mrs. Singer, 2 and 1; Mrs. MeFadyen beat IVliss Mclldowio, 4 and 2; Mrs. Burnard beat Mrs. Harper, 6 and 5; Mrs. R. Hutchinson beat MiSs S. Ormond, 4 and 3. Junior Championship.—Airs. K. U. Buttors beat Mrs. W. R. B. Willock, 5 and 4; Miss U. Fisken beat Mrs. 11. Ei. Maude, 2 and 1; Miss I’. Reynolds boat Miss P. DeCosta, 2 up; and Mrs. 11. B. Tyorinan beat Miss M. llegarty, 4 and 3.
Tho semi-final games in both divisions of the tournament will be played to-morrow morning, and the finals will take place on Wednesday of next week, alter tho completion of the Poverty Bay Golf Club’s open championship tournament.
The final of the Napier Golf Club championship was contested over 3b holes last week-end, resulting in Victory for J. R. Hobbs over R. I. Harrison' at the thirty-seventh hole after a close battle all the wav.
