INDIAN RULER DEAD
KHAN OF KALAT AN IMPRESSIVE FIGURE (Received Sept. 12, 11 tun.) CALCUTTA, Sept. 11.
The deatli lias occurred of the Khan of Kalat, ruler of the confederacy of nomadic tribes of "Kalat State, in Baluchistan. He was installed by the Viceroy on April 2IJ, 1922, making a striking figure in his white robes and embroidered gold ancestral head-dress si lidded with priceless precious stones.
