INJUNCTION SOUGHT
POWER BOARD RATE (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Following the action of the ManawatuOroua Power Hoard yesterday confirming the striking of a special rate of 7-£Od in the pound over the Palmerston North city area, instructions have been issued by the City Council to 1 the municipal solicitors to seek an injunction restraining the hoard. Immediate notice is being given to issue a writ, and after a month has elapsed, in conformity with the statutory procedure, an application will be tiled for an injunction. The matter will be heard at the next sitting of the Supreme Court here.
