EXILED MAHARAJAH
RULER OF ALWAR DISAGREED WITH VICEROY LONDON, July 11. The Maharajah of Alwar, exiled on instructions of Lord Willingdon, Viceroy of India, for two years from his native state, arrived in London to-day. On his last visit to London lie headed a delegation of Indian princes to the Indian Bound-Table. Conference. The dispute over the agricultural unrest in Alwar between the Maharajah and the Viceroy has aroused intense interest- here, where it was recalled that Alwar led all the states in recruiting at tho beginning of the war. The Maharajah maintains two regiments of infantry and one garrison force. He is a colonel in the British Army. The Maharajah said he was not willing to carry out the peace conditions, consequently the Viceroy ordered the Maharajah’s exile and appointed Mr. F. V. Fvlie, of the Indian Civil Service, as Prime Minister to conduct the administration of Alwar during the Maharajah’s enforced absence. With a retinue of 16, the Maharajah declined to make any statement when he arrived at Dover, where lie was greeted by the Lord Mayor and Duly Mayoress,
