DROP IN EXPENDITURE (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 29. Latest Treasury returns show.’the ordinary revenue for the current financial year up to August 26 was,-£232,-205,529, compared with a total at the corresponding date last year of £225,630,621. ■ Ordinary expenditure to date for the current year totalled £268,976,158, which is about £34,000,000 less than for the corresponding period last year.
