WRIT SERVED ON MAYOR
OPOTIKI BOROUGH DISPUTE The Mayor of Opotiki, Mr G. S. Moody, was served with a writ of uandamus on Monday. Thp case will be heard in the Supreme Court at Auckland on September U, when the court will be asked to requisition the Mayor to call a meeting of the Borough Council to put a certain motion. The jurt will also -be asked to award expenses in connection with the writ against the Mayor.
