CHARITABLE GIFTS
SUPREME COURT RULING (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Justice Reed in a. Supreme Court judgment held bequests in the will of Minnie Elizabeth Simmonds, late ot Thames, of £4OO to the wounded gnd disabled soldiers of New Zealand and £IOO to the home for wounded sailors of the British Empire to be charitable gifts within the meaning of the authorities, and directed the Public Trustee, as the present trustee of the will, to prepare a scheme for disposition and submit such aplieme for approval of the Attorney-General.
