h.b. team to meet P.B. A representative Hawke’s Bay soccer team will meet a team from Poverty Bay at McLean Park, Napier, next Saturday week. Messrs. C. W. Duncunib, Gallacher and Christensen have made their selection arid decided upon the following players to represent Hawke s Bay : Goal 1 , If. Hawthorn (Tobacco Factory): right back, G. Voung (Y.M.0.A.); left back, H. Henderson (Whakatu); right, half, R. Gray (Rangers); centre half G. Townsend (Whakatu) ; left hall, J. Butcher (Hastings United) ; outside right, J. Simmonds (Whakatu); inside right, H Leaning (Whakatu) ; centre forward, D. Penman (Whakatu); inside left, W. Clark (Tobacco Factory); outside left; W. Dymock (Whakatu). Reserves. —Back, Humphreys (Tobacco Factory); half-back, W. Leicester (Whakatu) ;• forward. F. Smith
