KILLED IN BRISBANE BRISBANE, July 29. William Jan&ffh, 21, youngest son of the magician, Dante, was killed instantly early this morning* when his» motor-cycle collided with an electric polo in Gregory terrace. Mrs. D. Ivnight, who was on the pillion seat, was injured. Jansen was driving Mrs. Knight to her residence after n performance given at His Majesty’s Theatre bv his father, whose stage name is Dante; Residents, who hoard the crash, found Jansen lying dead beside the machine, and Mrs. Knight unconscious. William Jansen was a talented member of his father’s company. Mrs. Knight, who is a member of the Dante company, is the wife of Mr. C. Knight, advance agent of the company, who is at present in Sydney. The performance to have been given by Dante to-night was cancelled.
