SYDNEY CONFERENCE UTMOST SECRECY OBSERVED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) . (Received April 20, noon.) ' r SYDNEY, April 19; The New- Zealand and, Australian butter representatives continued their conference again to-day and will hold further conversations to-morrow.
The utmost secrecy is being observed with regard to the deliberations, and representatives, interrogated separately, are not prepared to disedose the trend of the discussion. However, it is expected that an official statement will be issued at the close of the conference.
The Daily Telegraph says Australia and New Zealand have not yet reconciled their viewpoints on the-question of restricting exports of butter to the United Kingdom. Apparently both are opposed to the principle of a restriction on Empire butter, but there are other phases or .side issues upon which agreement Ims not been reached.
