WORTHLESS MEDICINE SYDNEY, April 3. Extraordinary disclosures of imposition by pedlars of stock medicines in the country were made to-day by Mr. C. J. Wollett, stock inspector at Lismore, in his presidential address to the Inspectors of Stock Conference.

Drench: Inorganic solids (sodium carbons), 3.41 per cent.; organic and volatile, 7.91 per cent.; water, with small proportion of alcohol, 88.68 per cent; value, few pence; cost to former, £2 a gallon. A cattle cure: Permanganate of potash, 10.25 per cent; copper sulphate crystals, 9.06 per cent; boric acid and coloring matter (probably red ochre); value, 8d a lb; cost to farmer, £2 5s 61b.
