Advice received from Wellington indicated that the C. and 1). Line ship Port Hunter will load at Gisborne on May 23 for Homo ports. Mr. Jonathan Holden, of Makotuku, Hawke’s Bay, was a, very successful exhibitor in the Wellington Easter Show, securing tho championship for tho best fat bullock, first and second awards in Loth classes of tho Wellington Live Stock and Butchers’ Assignation for best utility shop bullock, and other prizes.
