BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR LONDON, Feb. 28. When the Queen visited the British ludilStries Fair she spent a little time at tho New Zealand stand, which is tho first to catch tho eye ou entering Olympia. Her Majesty asked Mr. A. F. Cade, officer in charge of the stand, how things were in the Dominion. Tho latter replied that there was produce in plenty, hut unfortunately the prices now heing received wore, so low that the producers were getting no profit for their goods. The Queen expressed her regret, and sincerely -hoped there would be a change for the bettor in the near future. After looking at the produce displayed on the stand, Her Majesty was attracted by the. small cardboard cut-outs of New Zealand lambs. She picked up ono and placed it in the pocket of her coat, remarking that she was taking if hoiiio for her little granddaughter. When the Duchess of York paid Iror visit to the fair she, too, spent a little .time at the New Zealand stand. She immediately saw and examined the samples of passion fruit juice. Mr. Hade says that, there is going to be a great and growing demand for the juice of this fruit, but that New Zealand will not. bo by any means the only producer of it.
