ADVICE TO DENMARK
COPENHAGEN, March. 31,
Professor Arnold Plant, of the University of London, suggested in an interview on his arrival at Copenhagen, that Denmark should apply for membership of the British Commonwealth Of Nations.
Commenting on tho Ottawa agreements to a representative of the newspaper Politiken, Professor Plant, who is Cassel Professor of Commerce, said the Dominions keep thegr independence in everything, and havo already obtained preferences and other advantages. “If there were any disadvantages, South Africa would have left tho Empire long ago,” lie added. Professor Plant was Dean of the Faculty of Commerce in the. University of Capetown from 1924 to 1930.
