FIRE ON STEAMER
CRUISER TO THE RESCUE (Received April 19, 3 p.m.) GIBRALTAR, April 18. In response to a wireless appeal from the copra-laden steamer Benholm. from Suva, which has a lire in the afterhold and shelter deck, the eruiser Leamier transferred a smoke-helmetod party and escorted the vessel to Cahaburra, where it is being salvaged.
