WITH RUSSIA
AND AGAINST BRITAIN INDEPENDENT LABOR STAND (Received April .18, noon) LONDON, April 17. The annual conference of the Independent Labor Burly at Derby, unanimously resolved to do all in its power to resist any attempt to strangle the progress of the Soviet, anu pledged the party to agitate for a general strike to restrain the British Government in the event of any attempt to make war on Russia. Mr. Fenner Brockwav, the chairman, in supporting the resolution, said: "We will make it perfectly clear that we stand openly with Russia against, our own Government. ’*
