SUB-DEAN OF SOUTHWARK (Eiec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received April 18, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 17. The Daily Chronicle’s special correspondent says that tragedy has overtaken the Prime Minister’s liner. Canon Monroe, sub-Dean of Southwark, was proceeding to Newfoundland to recover from illness following his wife’s death at Christmas. He disappeared and is presumed to have fallen overboard.
