BURTON TROPHY TOURNEY SECTION PLAY PROGRESSES TOWN RINKS LEAD DIVISIONS Rinks representing one or another of the town bowling clubs emerged at the head of the respective divisions in the section play of the Burton Cup tournament, and much interest has been engendered in the closing rounds of tho annual Easter fixture. The weather .throughout the tournament has been most satisfactory, and to-day’s sunshine promised further enjoyable hours for players and spectators alike. THIS MORNING’S PLAY DOWNFALL OF LEADERS The seventh round played this morning, saw the downfall of some of the leaders. McKenzie, who had four wins with Craig, Coleman, and MacGibbou, suffered a narrow defeat. Craig’s game was unfinished at noon, but both MacGibbon and Coleman won.

Morse and Hammond were leading in the B section, and the former was defeated this morning. Stephenson, who was leading in the C section with Martin and Murray, also suffered defeat. This morning’s results in the seventh round were:—
