RECORD PRICES
HORSES IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, April 15. Country visitors to the Royal Show declare that horses are coming into their own again. Prices are constantly rising. This fact was emphasised at to-day’s sales of Clydesdale stallions, when the record price of 530gns. was paid for “Caumore,” the champion Clydesdale of this year’s show. The vendors were thevMbore and Hunter estate of Hawera, New Zealand. At .no time during the. sale by one firm of auctioneers did the price fall below lOOgns. One breeder obtained JQ2Qgns. for five draughts.
