The final of the 1932-3 season euchre tournaments held by the Rcay Bridge School Committee took place on Wednesday evening, when there was a fair attendance, Waingake being well represented. Mr. It. Frailing, secretary of the committee, was in his accustomed place as scorer after a brief sojourn in the North Auckland district. A, feature of the games was the evenness of the play, only a couple of points separating the losers from the winners. In the ladies section three players tied for the consolation trophy and foiir for the tournament prize, the winners being Mesdames L. Hansen and H. B. Livingstone and Misses Livingstone and McDonald., The play off occasioned more interest than the tournament itself, the winner being Miss Livingstone. In the second strike North did better, and knocked up 72 runs? for 14 wickets, at which point the innings was declared- closed. F. Parker scored 20. Honan 18, L. Hansen 8, Field 7, and ,S.
