STORTFORD LODGE SALE At tho weekly sale at Stortford Lodge, on Wednesday, an exceptionally heavy cattle yarding came forward. 'J his comprised approximately 300 fats and 1400 stores. Bidding was somewhat dull on cattle lacking quality, but finer lines met good competition. There was again a big yarding of fat sheep, approximately 3500, which sold at prices on a par with last week. Store sheep were if anything a shade easier than last week, with tho exception of medium quality lambs, which met a better market. The following is a range <>i prices:— Cattle.—Fat bullocks, £7 5s to £8 10s, fat heifers £2 5s to £4, fat cows £2 5s to £4 10s, f and f bullocks £3 15s to £4 12s 6d, 2j-year .steers £2 7s 6d to £3, store cows 25s to 365. dairy cows £3 15s to £5. Sheep.- Fat wethers Fls to 13s 3d, fat ewes 7s 6d to 8s 6d, medium 5s to 6s 6d, fat lambs 11s to 13s 6d, 2 arid 4-th wethers, good Us, medium 8s 6d to 9s 6d, wether hoggets, good 8s to 9s Id, medium 6,s to 7s 9d, forward ewes 3s to 4s 3d, store ewes Is 9d to 2s 6d, f and f lambs 8s to 9s 6d, medium lambs 6s to 7s 9d, COMPANY REGISTRATION Recent company registrations include the following : Sheet (C R.) and Company, Limited.
