Tho many Gisborne friends of Mr. and Mrs. Roy liousfiold, of Waipukurau, will hear with deep regret of their bereavement, through the death of their second daughter, Unions,, aged 10 years. Private advice received in Gisborne yesterday indicated that the girl was schooling her horse in anticipation of showring work in the early future, and was killed in a severe fall. The victim had boon most successful at recent shows in llawke’s Bay, and was regarded as an accomplished horsewoman, ill spite of her tender years.
