The Tiroa arrived this afternoon from Auckland and is to sail to-night for the Coast and Auckland. She w ill load there again on Monday and Tuesday in place of the Margaret, \\ for the Coast and Gisborne. The Shell Company’s oil tanker Paua left Auckland late yesterday afternoon for Gisborne. She is due here to-night and is expected to sail to-morrow- night for Wellington. At, this port she will discharge case and bulk petrol. The auxiliary scow Altair is expected here to-day from Auckland with a shipment of petrol. On completion of discharge here she will sail for Auckland with empty drums. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne is duo hero on April 29 from Napier to load frozen meat, wool and general cargo for London.

Winds: Moderate to strong southerly to south-easterly about and north of 'Cook Strait, and southwesterly thence southwards.
