social ion held one of its periodical sales on Tuesday, when it catalogued an offering of 337 hales of wool, 3.1 bags of wool, 2Sli2 sheepskins, ami a quantity of hides. Leeks, pieces, etc., which comprised the bulk of ttie catalogue were Keenly competed for and mot a ready stile. Only a few lots of iloece wine offered, must of these being straggler wool.
The sheepskin catalogue was not an at tractive lot. Better returns can only be secured for skins l.ml are carefully taken elf and well cared lor. 'liie next sale is set down for July If. Following was the range of ~nee.s realised:— Wool. —Crossbred (average) medium dd to 4’]d, inferior and seedy, 2d to 2Ad; crutchings, medium to good 2Ail to 3d, seconds ami inferior Id to lAd dead, first 3d to 3jd, seconds 2d to 2|d; bellies and 2nd pieces, 2d to 3,id; toms, Id to 1:1(1. Sheepskins. —Fine crossbred, threequarter to full wool, sound pods, .'in. to 3Ad; coarse to medium ditto, lit. to .'id; half to Ihree-quarter wools, sound pelts, id tu l:,'d; pelts and clothing, hi to l£d; inferior, damaged and seedy, Ad to lAd.

M m liu hi halfbred.—.Average, <ii,hl to 7’d Extra line crossbred. —-Average, oil to 7ld; inferior, 3d to -1 }d. Medium crossbred. —Average, 3'jd to -Lid; inferior, 2]d to 3Jd. Coarse crossbred. —-Average, .'id to 3i|d; inferior, I.HI to 2id. Hoggets.—Fine, Sid; medium, 4i|d to fid; Down, (id to Sd; fine, fid to 7|i<l. Bellies and pieces.—Good to super crossbred, 3-jd to fid; low to medium, ILI to 2}d.
