(Herald Correspondent.) The rain, after partly spoiling the FrasertoWn sports,, has gone off without doing any good to the pastures. . The funeral of tho late Mrs F. Oouper took place on Monday in the presence of a large number of settlers. The Rev. Father Devoy conducted the service at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and also at the graveside. . Paterson were laid to rest in the Wairoa cemetery on Monday, in the presence of a large number of mourners from all parts of the district.
