SUBSTANTIAL RAIN
NORTH OTAGO EXPERIENCE (Per Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. While some parts of the Dominion are too dry, North Otago is experiencing unusual rainfall. Tins week over an inch ,-has fallen, and to-day warm rain is falling. Snow appeared on the ranges to a low level, but is rapidly disappearing. Pastures and crops show extraordinary growth.
