CONSOLIDATION OF LAW (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. la moving the second reading of the New Zealand Loans Bill in the House of Representatives yesterday, the Hon. W Hoivme Stewart said the proposal to consolidate the law relating to loans had been under consideration for some time, and had more than once been recommended by the Auditor-General as being advisable on the grounds of simplification and economy. vff en '* n g to the clause providing for w? .'-'hange domicile of securities, the . imster said this had been necessary bv reason of the hict that the purchase/s c! securities had been placed at a disadvantage because they had to present coupons tor payment at some place other than in which they are domiciled.
