CLASH IN REICHSTAG

NAZIS AND COMMUNISTS ATTACK ON lIINDENBURG (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Dec. 8,2 p.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 7. Amid yells of “Down with Hiiulenburg," Nazis and Communists exchanged volleys of ash-trays, telephone receivers, spittoons, and ink pots in the Reichstag when a Communist attack on Marshal von Ilimlenburg loosed bedlam. Uniformed Nazis hurled themselves at the spectators, who joined in a fray on the stairs leading to the public galleries, hurling a table which smashed candelabra, several being injured. Tim session was temporarily adjourned.

The brawl was Hie result of a terrible explosion in the Premnitz dye works, killing seven, being made the pretext for an anti-capitalist outburst. Later the attack switched to President von nindenburg, whom the Communists described as responsible for the Versailles Treaty. The battle ended with the Communists being driven by superior numbers into their own lobby. A number of the contestants wore cut and bruised, but the worst sufferers were public officials who, with arms outstretched, sought to separate the brawlers.
