The s.s. Waimeti sailed for Napier at 12.20 p.m. to-day. Another grass fire on the Waikanae thi& afternoon called for attention from the fire brigade, the outbreak being on an open section adjoining the site of the New Zealnd Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s wool store in Awapuni road'. No damage to property was occasioned, though a residence in the Kre the brigade succeeded in quenching the blaze. 1 1 ■
