ALLEGED THEFT
LARGE SUM INVOLVED (Per Press Association.'* CMHISTOirUHOU, this day. Charles Edgar, Me Peak, 43,_ a salesman, was charged ia the Police Court this morning with the theft of £IOO about January 22 last, the property ol Mary llothney Orr. The chief detective said that Mcl’oak admitted the theft of £BfO, and the complainant alleged that it was a good deal more than that—-£1,500.
