EVIDENCE BEFORE COMMITTEE (Per Press Association.) V WELLINGTON, this day. Evidence on behalf of the Superannuated Public Service Association was given before .the Select Committee of the. House this morning. Air. Wright, the president, said subscribers -had been compelled to contribute under their contracts and accordingly claimed as a 1 right the- benefits already granted. He suggested that the Government should discharge its present indebtedness to the funds by the issue of inscribed stock, - ■ Statements wdre also made on beluilf Of superannuated teachers by Air. Gaughlev; and on liehalf of superannuated railway servants by Air. Ryan.
