A shortage of youths for farm work has been experienced in connection with the work of the Y.M.C.A.-Rotary Clan committee, formed some months ago to facilitate the absorption of hoys and youths into permanent employment, today the committee had 10 positions available, with wages ranging up to £1 per week, for which no suitable applicants were forthcoming.
