SHEEP AT LESS THAN SD. ARARAT, Victoria, Nov. 25. There is something reminiscent of the middle ’seventies in the plight of the man ou the land at the present time, with the low price of wheat, wool and stock. This week at a sheep sale ?t Glenorcliv. a flock of 147 aged elves were knocked down for the total amount of £3, or a little over 44 per head. •In 1918 the same type of sheep were sold at 28s per head. HOltdE SOLD FOR 3d YAH PAX!. Victoria, Nov. 26. . Four horses were sold at the local sale yards for 3d, 94, _2s 6d and 7s each. One dealer sold an animal for a price representing over thirty times the purchase sum.
