A numbm 1 of unemployed miners commenced operations on the Monowai Goldmining Company’s property at Waiomio, near Tliames, tins week. It is the intention of the company to engage a number of men in connection with the working of the claim, which includes the fapioiis Zepjian mtye. The men are being paid award wages.
