Polled Herefords
ADVICE regarding the arrival of ™ three Polled Hereford bulls in the far south and in Australia has 'been received Iby Mr F. E. Humphreys, of Ngatapa, who has pioneered the Polled Hereford breed in .New Zealand. i A t his annual dispersal sale recently, two 2-year bulls were sold ’to Messrs. Sassella. Brothers, of Melbourne, Prince Gem Ist at bogus, and Gem sth at GOgns. These have arrived at their destination in good condition. The yearling, Imperial Gem, which Jir Humphreys had on display at .the ■Royal Show, was sold to Mr Donald McDonald, of Edendale, 'Southland, at fingns. At the Auction held at the Royal Show, this animal Was.passed in at bogus., but was sold later, Word received.! by Air Humphreys last .week states tliaUthc Hull arrived, at his new home in. .good .condition, and. that 'farmers are favorably impressed with the Polled Hereford, which is the first to be taken to that district.
