Another fall of masonry occurred in Westminster Abbey on Tuesday aftor- ■ noon, the second in two months. A 1 piece of stone weighing about 801bs ! fell to the pavement of tho east . cloister, raising a cloud of dust, j Groups of tourists in flu* cloister at i the time narrowly escaped injury.. ! Tho stone, was part of the tonr- ! teenth century vaulting between the library and the monument j'oom. Repair work is now in progress outside the cloister.
