CONTRACT FOR BRITAIN
NEW PORTUGUESE WARSHIPS LISBON, Dec. 5. A British consortium, including Vickers-Armstroiig. Hawthorn, Leslie, and Thornycrofts, successfully tendered for the' construction of two Portuguese scout ships of 2110 tons, and two submarines. The Government is postponing tho construction of a seaplane carrier.
