MAJESTIC THEATRE Alwavs popular because of her personal charm and technique, Loretta Young reaches the climax of her enviable career in “Play Girl,” now showing at the Majestic Theatre. She plays tho part of Buster, a modern young, girl who carefully lays her plans for a brilliant. business career and financial independence, without including marriage or motherhood. . . She forgets them all when sWmeets Wallie (played by Norman I'ofsr), a handsome young Lothario, whh TifoTnpflv, steals her heart. They marrv, hut Wallie turns out to he a ne’ei-do well, lovable vet undependable, earning- his precarious living by gamblin'l'. Hardly Is the honeymoon over when Buster discovers his occupation. A bitter quarrel sends Wallie to a distant city without Buster. Alone, expecting motherhood and in financial straits, she resorts to his own practices by placing her last cent on an unknown horse. The second attraction is “Fifty Million Frenchmen,” featuring Olsen and Johnson. REGENT THEATRE Intending patrons who have not vet seen “Movie Crazy,” with Harold Lloyn and Constance Cummings, are reminded that to-night will be their last oppor tunjty. Gloria Swanson in “To-night or Never,” based oil tho Belosco stage success, comes to the Regent Theatre to-morrow.
